With precision and passion
Glashütte Original embodies innovative German watchmaking art that meets the highest standards of quality.
In our manufactory the watchmakers' traditional craft skills encounter state-of-the-art production technologies. Passion, the delicate touch of a practised hand and impressive in-house production depth come together to create exclusive timepieces of extreme precision and timeless elegance.
The roots of Glashütte Original reach back to 1845, the year in which the first master watchmakers settled in Glashütte. They realised their dream of an independent Saxon watchmaking industry. As a direct descendent of their art, today Glashütte Original carries their vision forth into the 21st century.
The Glashütte Original collections
Glashütte Original is a world-famous brand with a long tradition – five collections interpret their wealth of facets in very different ways: the Pano, Senator, Spezialist, Vintage and Ladies collections.
All models represent the highest standards of construction, precision and aesthetics.
Under the sign of excellence since 1845
Glashütte Original embodies the highest level of German watchmaking art.
A culture of excellence and creativity has been established here over many generations. It continues to inspire us to this day, constantly driving us to innovate and develop new products.
On artists and their canvases
Glashütte Original is one of the few watch manufactories to make its own dials. The production of highly refined dials from Glashütte Original takes place in our in-house dial manufactory, located in Pforzheim.
Dive into the Original
Since the 19th century, timekeepers from Glashütte have been used in highly specific areas on land, at sea and in the air. Based on this rich heritage, Glashütte Original presents a further collection: the “Spezialist”. The premiere model in this new collection is the diver’s watch SeaQ, which unites history and modernity in exemplary fashion.
