For its legendary TV-shaped watch, MIDO has chosen titanium – a high-tech, durable material which is inherently sporty. Inspired by iconic 1970s television sets, this silhouette made a remarkable comeback to the Multifort collection in 2023. Exceptionally strong without being dense (making it very lightweight), titanium lends its enviable properties to the Multifort TV Big Date, from the case to the bracelet. The aesthetic is monochrome and modern: It features subtle variations in the surface finish with a polished or satin-brushed effect. With, of course, that irresistible vintage touch of the TV shape. Hollow indexes, filled with white Super-LumiNova®, add relief to the sunray satin-finished grey gradient dial, featuring a horizontal pattern. MIDO's signature big date contrasts in white against a black background. The Multifort TV Big Date Titanium is equipped with the Caliber 80, a precise and reliable automatic movement featuring a Nivachron™ balance spring and a power reserve of up to 80 hours. Shades of silver grey
Aesthetically, the watch subtly plays with variations of grey and textures. Highlighted by the polished bezel, satin-finished on the top, it showcases a sunray satin-finished grey gradient dial featuring horizontal lines across it in relief, reinforcing the surface variations. Optimal readability both day and night is assured, thanks to the hollow indices filled with white Super-LumiNova®, as well as the black nickel-plated, diamond-cut and faceted hands. At noon, the big date is clearly visible, perfectly legible in white on a black background, topped by a sand-blasted marker on the bezel.
The main surfaces of the case, measuring 40 mm x 39.2 mm, discreetly capture the light thanks to the satin-brushed finish. The bracelet, made of titanium with polished central links, also delivers on this promise of durability and comfort while remaining lightweight. It stays securely on the wrist thanks to a folding clasp operated by push buttons.

Water-resistant up to a pressure of 10 bar (100 metres/330 ft), this timepiece is as reliable as it is elegant.
